My '66 Merc was equipped with three more or less in the middle and none on the corners. I never see modern trucks so equipped so my guess is that the three light layout is no longer legal, at least...

Were the padded visors a stand-alone option? My present and previous trucks are CC's and came with the flat grey ones. My '66 brochure doesn't list them in the description of the Custom Cab option....

The Ford of Canada "deluxe" push-button radio might be large enough to cover that ugly hole. I used one for that reason.

My advice is to avoid anything that says Fenco on it. The cheaper parts save money but that's not so important to me when the time and effort are considered. I've had good results with LUK products....

I sure hope you've found one of those rare guys who can rebuild the Bendix. I'm surprised there's a kit available. I had mine done by a local whiz who used parts for several other applications...

Dan, I have seen a Ford of Canada template for drilling all the holes for the radio. It might tell you where they intended it to go. I will try to get a copy of that.

I think the Econoline used them for maybe a dozen years after the pickups went to the metric pattern.
