IME, that is a very low price for that truck in this area. I routinely see almost anything with a PSD that isn't beat to death/rusted/400k+ selling close to $10k. Hell, a nice IDI will set you back...

E's will carry far more weight than your 150 is capable of. Try looking for a set of "D" spec tires, there may be some available for a 15" rim - at least there used to be.

I ditched the rusty, dented caps on mine and did just what you suggested: painted the hubs and used closed-end lug nuts. Until I had a wheel fail, then I went with steelies and painted them black.

No, the plate (roughly 16"w X 12"L) has no holes in it. I am going to use spring-loaded U bolts and add them to the plate or maybe through the floor into the hitch crossmember.

It's a TransTech 20k fold-down hitch. I was surprised that there was no way to attach chains. The closest hitch shop is about 100 miles away, so I'll have to come up with a solution on my own.
