Let me know how your swap goes, I have a 330 that is in good shape but is really gutless and I have a buddy who has a HD 391, so although the truck is only seldom used it's tempting to do.

Seems the drivers side floor and the bottom of door jams is a serious rust issue on Aerostars. Mine came from California, so I applied a bunch of WAXOYL and keep it garaged.

You guys mention siamesed cylinders, but it depends how much they "overlap" over each other (how much they interfear). Chrysler 2.2 and 2.5s had siamesed cylinders and I've known people who got...

My grandson and I thought it would be a shame to see that truck get scrapped since the body is unusually solid without rust. Just for now something to piddle with.

I would have thought the 250 would pull better than the 300 based 240 being it has a longer stroke. I had a FE powered pickup I bought new in 68 and drove it until a few years ago when rust finally...

No, I've had a few 240 and 300s. This is a 250 with the intake cast on the head. It's a "tall block" 200 with a real long stroke. Almost what the 300 stroke is. Engine came out of a Torino, I helped...

Thinking of putting in a 250 6 cylinder in a '65 Ford

I've been offered a very solid 65 Ford pickup (or it goes to scrap) that I was thinking about saving. The body is rust free everywhere, even underneath and the floor are solid.

I've spoke to several RV owners through the years and they all told me the same thing, the 454s ran hot and from their experience the 460 Fords did not. Brother in law had a 78 van cutaway with a...

Question I have a Chevy question

I'm looking at buying several used RVs for fairly cheap. Just something for camping and family fun. The problem I have it seems the 454 Chevrolets that power most that I see are always such short...
