My wife is friggin AWESOME!

At least I think so... she got me this diecast of a 56... I am going to try to match it as close as I can for my build. Right down to the rear opening hood.... PLUS the model has the same engine trim...

Time for a cleanup of the shop

I finally got sick of not having a good clean place to work. So today it took me 6 1/2 hours but if found the floor of the shop today.

Yesterday I started to find the floor in the shop..an hour or so into it...hey look...there's my truck....
Managed to get the running boards and rear fenders mocked up.. and the old part loaded on...

It's best to wrap hose TIGHTLY with duct tape....

It's best to wrap hose TIGHTLY with duct tape. Cut it as squarely as possible with a cutoff wheel. Leave one wrap of tape on.. apply grease to hose end, secure ferrel nut in a vise and twist hose...

Thanks...I haven't had much time to dedicate to it lately... I will try to make more time for it...still working full time and family/grandkids make it hard to work on it as much as I'd like...

Finally fixed my rear shock mount.

Today I spent an hour or so on fixing the lower rear shock mount... now it will have the correct geometry..
