If you can scrounge up Holley engineering's contact info, I bet they will sell you one. I got a new base plate for a 390 cfm 4 bbl from them a few years back and it only cost $67

I bet if you measured and did the math, it takes about the same amount of fluid to activate as a dual one. And if you stop and realize in a dual one, the fluid displaced might only move one side...

A big glitch on old trucks is the tires. Around here, you just can't find a decent set of used 16 or 17.5s Plan on spending a grand or more just to put new tires on.

It isn't just the radfiator placement. Parts are different. I can't remember the name of that top piece in front but the 6 had a shorter one than the V8, maybe other things too

I bolted a 600 cfm 1850 onto a 312 in my 57 F350 years ago, worked great and I don't remember doing anything else to it.
