I've heard some horror stories about Fram. But...

I've heard some horror stories about Fram. But we've never had a problem with them. And my dad used them in his 89 F150 for the 22 years that he owned it.

I'm not sure if they are more common to a certain area, but definitely avoid the Northeastern states(like the one I live in) for obvious reasons.(RUST:-banghead )

I agree, it really depends on the color scheme of the truck. The black just looks out of place on some trucks, and perfect for others.

At least with mine being black/chrome I can kind of get away...
