Looking good. I have the eliminator, but still haven't mounted it because I'm waiting to decide on a seat so I can get it in a close to comfortable position. I like seeing them mounted for ideas....

Thanks everyone for the input. The shoes I have are 2 1/4" wide. If I measure the entire surface are on the inside of the drum, it's 2 3/4".

I am going to have the drums turned before putting it...

I don't have any idea if they are ok or not...but I bought all 4 springs from mid fifty (Eaton Detroit Springs makes them) and they all had a metal band. I'm sure it's mainly just to keep them...

Ouch. Haha. Yes, I installed them myself...but didn't paint them or anything. They got rusty...:( ha It never bothered me...but now I'm gonna have to go out and clean them and paint them! :)
