I did a lot of research before I bought the C. My thought was that I could run nearly any carb with the right adapter. I picked the motorcraft 2150 and it runs great.

1990 f350 brake rotors.

I have a 1990 f350, diesel, srw, solid front axle. I'm replacing the front brakes. This may be a dumb question - the rotors look like they need to be pressed off the hub? I've never encountered this....

To change that, wouldn't the cam and distributor have to be a matched set? Maybe not the entire distributor, but the distributor drive gear?

Look up Bentdsons adapters, I wouldn't give up in the flathead. Lots of modifying there. Or, a more simple option, teach your wife how to drive it the way it is.
