it will probably be more work then it is worth as you have to deal with the fact that your trucks engine and tranny...

never came across one specifically for the fridge bodies, but they make them for the 64-72 and are pretty cheap from LMC. might be able to modify it to work on the fridge boxes.

i bought a set of sockets from Sears that are designed to grip old rusted or rounded heads of bolts. they kind of have a serated design to them and work amazingly well. not that expensive either....

i doubt those two were hardened pushrods. sue looks like someone put regular pushrods in place of hardened ones in that cylinder and that is why they failed.

i would definately be replacing all...

really depends on what shape the heads are in and how much work they will need. the DOVE heads normally didn't come with hardened...

the only problem you might run into is that there might not be a lot of clearance...

the tranny is a different story. they are computer controlled...

which heads do you have? if you have the passenger car heads, the SCJ intake ports are way bigger then the passenger head ports and cause a huge mismatch. would probably hurt more then it helps....

you need the 4x4 tranny as the transfer case bolts to the tailhousing on the tranny. the 2 wheel drive trannys don't have the correct tailhousing. not sure what would be involved in swapping over...
