I agree. I bought a 5.0 2015 this summer and, with the lighter body and an upgrade to 385 hp and 387 ft/lb for the 5.0, I doubt you would be disappointed.

The 4.6 is pretty bulletproof and more than adequate for the use you describe. If you need to tow or haul heavy loads the 5.4 would be a better choice, but they have had issues with the valve train...
