Mine is mounted on the inner fender panel in the engine compartment to keep it above the top of the tank. I do occasionally get a gas smell when the tank is filled to the top.

My brother has three F1's and is looking to sell this one. I believe he is asking $17,000 for it . It is a very original six cylinder truck. I have driven it and it drives nice.
