But, that is why I asked where the truck is. If the rust is isolated, and the truck is in a low-rust part of the country...well, fixing it in a forever way seems reasonable.

I don't think it will be an issue for the FSS either. But, I would check some other circuits...are you getting the same voltage variance elsewhere?

The glow plugs and controller are going with the 7.3. I assume he'll use them. He did say his 6.9 plugs were on a toggle switch, so he might do that.
