I billet ones are very nice. Defiantly don't ever have to worry about them again. The metal ones with gasket from Ford not so much. Not a matter of if but when.

I have it on my truck for the last 3yrs or so. Never cut apart a filter but it has stopped flowing through the filter and been bypassing it automatically. So I have to believe it is catching...

98 Expy with 5.4. How big of a job is timing chains and guides? Just about ready to turn 200,000 and figured it is over due. Driving to Georgia in April and don't want anything to break on the way.

4" exhaust for me gained my no noticeable improvements besides maybe a small drop in egts. Other then that just A lot louder. If I gained 4 mpg on mine I would have figured a way to install two :)

I thought about that. These are the second set of Duratracs. The first set were a little "loose" when new, but tightened up. Not sure if I just need to wait for these to tighten up or they changed...

I personally would up grade to a push button controller if you can. When I had my Meyer I make some straps with Velcro on them. Slipped them over kid of my center console and attached the controller...
