I'd be interested in a write-up and/or pictures. I was thinking the Chevy mirrors would work style-wise and not have the blind spot of the Dodge mirrors. I also like the way the Chevy/Ford setup...

Update: Good News and Bad News

Good news, all was going well. I really like the Trutrack. So much so, I hadn't bothered to get the front drive shaft rebuilt/modified yet. I also scored some Aluminum (sadly, not true Alcoas) 8"...

The problem with the OEM clips/nuts is they are not really nuts. They are soft metal designed to allow the bolt to cut threads into them. Look it up. That's great at the factory from an assembly...

Two options: SD bolt kit which is usually well over $100.

8 grade 8 1/2" bolts, washers and nuts. You need 4 long and 4 short. I don't recall the exact lengths. If no one chimes in, I can...

All Done

Tried to update once before, and it didn't take. I'm still missing the front drive shaft (long story short: don't trust junkyard computers). I had the rear professionally modified from the donor...

Well after removing the transmission, I discovered that the throw-out bearing had separated. It was still functional, but I thought it best to replace it. Odd thing is it, it was only about 15K...
