Thanks for that. That's sort of what I was thinking. I wonder how I can double-check the transmission? It's hard to hear or feel it shifting but maybe I can see it on the tach..... I also feel...

Does this seem right?

1977 F250. 460 w/ a C6 transmission and 4:10 rear end. 33" tires. I seem to be running ~3200rpms at 50mph. Doesn't have a lot left in it at that point. Does this seem right?

Been that way since I've owned it.

I haven't checked the timing but if I wanted to advance it a little bit, which way do I turn the dizzy?

Please, please, please help me with my starter woes!

I'm running a 460 with a C6. I installed the PMGR Lester 3226. My truck doesn't get used often but the factory starter was really slow to spin when hot. The PMGR seemed to solve that.

My ring...

Yeah, that would have been a bad idea. It seemed superfluous when I had the top and back bench split apart. But when I put them back together I realized that was the piece that kept the back from...

New upholstery question....

I ordered a new set of vinyl from ACME. It seems to be great quality and everything fits well. Here's my issue -- there is a bar that sticks out of the sides of my bench seat that acts as a stop...

I'm trying to avoid paying shipping on $6 worth of bolts. I don't see any reason to put torx headed bolts back in there.

Seat belt torx bolt?

First -- these bolts are a MAJOR PAIN to get out. Several broken bits, lots of MAP gas, lots of PB blaster and some 4-letter words and I got the drivers side out. Where can I find a new bolt? What...
