Just my $0.02 USD worth . . .

Does it still have to pass smog? If so, don't try running a BBF in a F150. The smog nazis are getting better at their job.

No smog needed? Go big block. 514 strokers with the right parts make good...

Looks like one of the cracks might be right behind the #1 crossmember.

Gah, that looks like a donor chassis is needed or a massive dose of MIG/arc welding is in order. Maybe a bit of judicious...

Another possibility

You might try a 4BT Cummins instead. They weigh about 790 pounds dressed.

Just my $0.02 USD worth.

My 0.02 USD worth.

Not a hope in hell I would run that converter. Send it back, get your money back, buy a known quantity. Looks like a core, not a built converter. If it looks that bad where you can see it, I can't...

Hmmm . . .

I'm not positive, but the '92 - '96 and '97 HD trucks should have a 7 pin plug at the rear of the frame and extra relays/fuses under the hood in the distribution block if they have the towing...

I have an F250 4x4 7.5L displacement gasoline engine.

It has a very clean/straight body but the big v8 seems to devalue the worth of the truck. Most would prefer a diesel Powerstroke instead.

I...

My further thoughts

Looks like you missed a step or two during the KOER check. I always refer to the steps listed on EEC IV Self Test ? Ford Fuel Injection and EEC IV Electronic Engine Control ? EEC 4 OBD Trouble Codes...

My thoughts

You know, beings that it was a plow truck in a previous life, this doesn't surprise me. Plow trucks are of a breed that is characterized by the credo "If it starts and moves, plow with it".

You...

Just my 0.02 USD worth.

Just for grins, did the computer return an "OK" check code? I think it's 111 on an OBD1 vehicle.

WTH?!?

That is one ghetto exhaust. Only thing missing is a coat hanger holding things up.

Guess your neighbors love you, too.

That Dowel Pin!

Hope it doesn't fall in that range of years (1989 to 1998) that are afflicted with "KDP", aka Killer Dowel Pin or Dowel Pin of Death.

If your Cummins (no G) needs the mod, do it before your 6BT...

Kind of off-topic but the C4/C5 was not the basis for the AOD. The AOD/AOD-E/4R70W/4R75W are based of the old Ravigneaux gearset, same as a Borg-Warner, FMX or MX.

Also, setting up the throttle...
