Nice to see this figured out. My zf needs to be opened. I'm hoping all the internals are useable and all I have to do is bearings and synchros. I'm usually not that lucky though

Most people that claim to be 7.3 expert are full of hot air. Is the oil filter black? Fuel pressure good? Check the valve cover harness for burnt pins. If al the pins look good inside and out watch...

I think you problem all circles your compression numbers. If a 400 psi motor is running at 100% and yours only hitting around 300psi your motor is going to see a huge power loss.

You've got to look at what you want to do with the truck. Glen pulls heavy and all the time. I have 2's in my truck and love them most of the time. But I only pull about 8000lbs. I can keep my egts...
