Since you have the steering wheel off already I think you remove the bolt that clamps the mast jacket to the steering box and slide the mast jacket off the box.

I didn't previously realize that 52 truck motor mounts were a one year deal. I wonder why Ford bothered? I also wonder if the earlier mount would just bolt in since the catalog shows different rubber...

Get a wide belt pulley for the pump and line it up with the fan. The middle area of the crank pullet is just a spacer, it is not made to drive a belt.
