Hot start issue

1995 f250 460 automatic. Problem is if you work this truck hard trailer towing. And you shut it off for 10-20 mins when you go to restart it misses dies generally bucks and snorts for a few minutes....

Just tap it 9/16-18 get the washer included bolt...

Just tap it 9/16-18 get the washer included bolt and a sealing washer. If it doesn't work then you can go to all the work removing the pan. Don't drill anything just tap it you are ready very close...

Point the keys on the cam and aux sprocket...

Point the keys on the cam and aux sprocket straight down. Crank key straight up. You wil notice the timing mark on the crank lines up with a notch in the crank seal housing

Don't pull the heads unless you are willing to go through the whole thing. The block is guaranteed to need to be decked

I prefer LUK. Chances are that is what Ford put in it from the factory. All the new hydraulic clutches are self adjusting.

No real problems with cranks. Have it checked for size and turned if needed. Have the rods checked for size and roundness recondition as needed. The mobile 15w-40 will be just fine.
