I agree with Pete, it will require some luck. I drenched mine in penetrating fluid multiple times over the coarse of a day and then went at it with an impact and bit. I ended up having to drill one...

Also, in my service manual it lists the 48-52 F-3 front lug as part # 8 D-1107A and being 1/2"-20 by 1-3/4" long. Had to put a space in the 8 D or else it looks like this... 8D haha

Don't know the spec off hand, can check my service manual after work (about 7 hrs from now) and will also measure mine for you, I know they're longer than an inch, that's for sure.
