I was thinking the loop may be for hitching up the sled when they go pullin :-X04. The "stack" is to keep the exhaust out of the guys face while he's hitchin it up.

If the EGR throttle plate is choking it down it seems like it should show odd numbers on map and EBP. Maybe what's happening. I'd pull the plate out and leave the shaft/sensor and leave it plugged in...

I wonder what that little Hondo is being used for. Big tie-down loop on the hitch for something. The Golf to the right looks like it may have som extra sticky rubber on the front also.

If you're avoiding silicates, check the jugs label on what ever you're considering. If it says " CAT-EC1" it contains no silicates.

Even the old style 3G case bolts right up. The shop that built mine did some grinding on the bottom of it but I don't think that was even necessary on a 6.0 engine. (Sorry about the crappy picture)....
