I also have a low slung MII, my front tire size...

I also have a low slung MII, my front tire size is P205/65R16. I wanted 16" wheels to make it a little more highway friendly with a 3.73 rear. Back tires are P235/75R16.

I couldn't have a flat bed truck, it would be so full of stuff that I could never drive it.

I agree, use new belts. I got Juliano's which meet new car specs, welded in 3/16 plate between the door posts and the window frame and used plates below the floor board.
