How many amps is your alternator? It sounds like the a/c is pulling down the battery, which replenishes after sitting for a bit.

I agree with Scott about the first one. The wheelbase is too long for an F4, but I can't read the badge on the side, so don't know if it's an F5 or F6.

I'll admit I know nothing about the smaller, more popular trucks, but I know the frame on mine was designed to hold the spare outside the frame. :oval
