There are some gear lubes that clearly state friction modifer is included.....in the absence of that....I would check with the royal purple folks and make sure it has it.....if your truck requires...

in NYC, f-250 needs an exception to get pass plates and with no pass plates you can not park in residentual areas as well as go on parkways.

an f-350, has the same...

with that many miles, I would check the cat as well. some folks pressure test it, others use a heat gun to determine if the heat pattern is correct.

the 10W40 spec came from a ford Sb/TB. The obvious draw back would be cold weather starting.......and becuase of that....I tried instead Mobil 1 Disel 5W40 with the thought that cold weather starts...

there are mods to the washers...

my guess is the truck was a recent pruchase and the fluid was changed before selling to you.

we could probally talk you thru testing the hot side of the circut to the first fuse pin and testing the resistance of the load side of the fuse pin...but I am getting a sense that you are better off...

rancho steering stabilizers and rancho shocks are two different products. I had inquired to the manufacture and was told there are some design differences.
