I'm honestly not sure on the benefits of cross drilled rotors over traditional vented rotors. I imagine they're at least up to par with traditional rotors though.

It's definitely the Mustang. I have a few local Ranger friends who have done the swap on their Rangers. I don't think the Explorer disc brakes are as "good".

It looks like the 2004 E150's use 16"...
