Honestly I'd take the truck to another shop. One that can do high speed balancing and see how the come out. Another thing to try is rotate the tires from front to back, see if the vibration shifts....

Sounds like clutch is stuck or throw out bearing is not releasing or worse case you snapped something in the shifter or your input shaft on the trans.

Well logically if the intermediate oip pump shaft...

Well logically if the intermediate oip pump shaft was spinning fine with the drill on it the the slippage of the shaft is happening on the distributor side...I'd be looking that over carefully.

You said you'd move the harness and it would start missing or die. Maybe a pin is backed out of a connector a little bit, corrosion, maybe one of the pins in a connector overheated and is shorting...

If you still have your old components and they were good. I'd start to swap them out one by one and see if you have luck. Hopefully it's a component and not in the wiring. ..i hate tracing wires.
