The only time I ever did a ring and pinion rebuilt was on a Dana axle, so clearly there will be differences. Did you have any preload on the ring gear when turning the pinion into the gear marking...

Thirded here!. Put the cab on. Plus the saddle,inner wings and rad! It's pretty tight with a 460 and C6. You want it as far back as poss to give you as many fan options up front!

Fair enough. In all fairness, I didn't like the look of the Sanderson flange, and have cut it off for a better (possibly) stainless flange that is thicker. I had to cut the n/s one off anyway to weld...

If you say so. I wouldn't choose to use a sealer on the standard 3 bolt flat flange, but to each their own.

Only on the manifold to head. The 3 bolt flange still requires a gasket. It doesn't have the welded bead on it, so I doubt hi temp silicone would last long in there.
