I love your truck Bill .
Always good to have the mod cons of updated driveline and suspension , but I love the way your truck still kinda looks stock from the outside .

To mount it using the jag soft mounts would mean cutting all the mounts you have just had constructed , not just simply un bolting it .
You may as well leave it the way it is .

Crossmember WILL work , the rubber ford mounts will be off set and when bolted to the motor it puts the mounting holes in line with each other ! .

There should be a number stamped into the rectangular shaped air horn on the top of the carb facing the front .
It's the only way to tell accurately exactly what carb it is .

The correct flexplate should have a counter weight welded to it .
I think from what I've seen the 50 oz flexplates usually have a few cutouts in them with little or no weights .
