You need the metal plate that goes between the flywheel and engine block. The flywheel has the starter ring gear on it.

Well don't expect RA to refund anything. Lifetime warrantied strut wasn't any good called they said well you had it over 30 days no warranty. Airtex is junk end of story there.

My guess is you have a fairly significant vacuum leak. Get some carb spray or something similar and start checking for leaks.
