I have had the Gearbox Z DPFR+ for over a year now with no problems. I'm running the 70hp tune. I get 14.5-16 city and 18-19 highway not towing and get 10-12 mpg towing on relatively level terrain...

Almost is the key word here. Almost isn't equal. I want the extra width of the current SD. I would have liked the cab on my 06 F150 more if it would have been as wide as the current SD. More shoulder...

I stand by what I said. All one has to do is look at the flat rate times and parts cost to see that. Nothing against the new stuff, but it's still cheaper to own and operate a 95 F150 than a new one...

But 20 years ago Ford cabs were wide like the current SD, not narrower like the current F150's. So if Ford does decide to share cabs between F150 and SD I would want the wider choice.

I hope they can fix it as well. Let us know how it works out for you. But if it comes down to you having to pay for the repair, you might be better off taking it to an independent shop. It'll be less...

All one has to do is look at the flat rate times for labor and it's obvious the old push rod engines are far cheaper to own, Tim. The parts are also less expensive. One can run 5K oil change...

The 5.8L can't be made to get the same MPG towing as the EB with the old 4spd automatic transmission. But they are close with the correct heads and cam selection for a lot less money. The 7.5L can do...
