No, not new fittings. Consider this a repair on heavy equipment in the middle of nowhere where if the machine was shut down the company would lose $50k a day.

Those are used to bandaid the sealing surface on hard to replace fittings, or as a quick fix.

I use silver or nickle anti-seize and brush it on...

I use silver or nickle anti-seize and brush it on and then wipe it off so it's basically a very thin coating.

Pins, vanes, unison ring and housing.

Fan circuit goes thru the EGR valve.

If the valve is unplugged the fan will only achieve about 50% of its rated maximum.
