SPARE TIRE RETRACTOR BROKE

In my opinion they are junk. Mine didn't come with the tool to let the tire down so I just cut the cable and threw the spare in the bed for long trips.

If I had to choose a psd I would go with the 6.7 as well. I have spent enough time broken down and in the shop talking to their technicians to know that I will never own anything built by navistar....

The few times I have gotten water in my gas I just used a bottle of heet(there is a red and yellow bottle, not sure which one is which right off) and it cleared it up.

Whose using what oil??

I have been running Mobil 1 full synthetic with a purolator filter with no issues in my sd. I've also had good luck out of motorcraft oil and filters in other vehicles too.

Finally got the van welded up and back on the...

Finally got the van welded up and back on the road. I put about 200 miles on it down curvy roads to test it out before handing it back over to my wife. Seems to be doing just fine now.
