The way to diagnose a fuel pump is with a pressure gauge. The first thing to do is scan it and see what codes it has. Then is what your ICP is, FICM voltage, those are the common problem areas.

The Ford kit is for a manual trans, it can't control the automatic transmission. Running a stand alone computer isn't the best way to go and I don't think anybody makes anything to control the 6R80.
