E-Series never received the 3V heads, at least on the V8 motors and that should be true of the V10's too.

This sounds 100% like an electrical signal issue, either from the ECM or the wiring to those cylinders COP's or injectors. The fact it comes and go somewhat predictably with engine temp is one clue....

Working on an E-Series isn't quite a horrible as many claim, the F-Series guys have similar complaints to their over-crowded engine...

Over in the V10 Modular Motor forum there are probably hundreds of posts about Mike @ 5 Star Tuning----he can and does work wonders with the V10 PCM strategies.
