Personally I would prefer to have it mounted over the radio near the center of the dash. That way it wouldn't block as much of your vision. The pod looks really nice though.

I think you might be doing your compression test wrong. There's just no way you should be getting 160+psi. a fresh engine is usually around 120 psi if I remember correctly.
