Yup thats it...it was the best extra tool bought...

Yup thats it...it was the best extra tool bought for the project. If you have a 1/2 inch torque wrench you'll need to get a 3/4 to 1/2 adaptor socket as well.

The more I think about it, I think all three versions (large, small, and stepped) came with my HG.


Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if I remember correctly the only time you need stepped...

I'm not sure on the dowels...mine didn't have stepped dowel pins, but my understanding is that you should get either an adaptor sleeve or a stepped dowel pin. Someone else with more knowledge could...

No denting required if you buy a 6.0L torque...

No denting required if you buy a 6.0L torque extender adaptor. They work like a charm and they make it easier to torque the head studs when reassembling.


I found the cover on the AC box to hard...

Congrats! I went through all the same stuff in...

Congrats! I went through all the same stuff in my driveway last spring. Worst part is trying to use the cherry picker in the gravel...LOL...and having to ask the wife for help when I needed three...

My son's class is going to some caves in southern...

My son's class is going to some caves in southern Indiana and my daughter's class is going to Cleveland...museum of science and industry, R&R Hall of Fame, Cedar Point, and a few other things.
