In general, a 3.50 rear gear (with a 1:1 high tranny ratio) is a good compromise btwn street and highway.


Alternatively, the next step is a 3.70.


I recommend you calc your effective gear...

I've got both and both seem to have equal gaps of information. I have a vintage Clymer manual that is better than Chilton or Hanes.. it even has the factory wiring diagrams.
