What's your question? The 3.7L is the weakest of the F150 motors... and the 6R80 is used in all F150 configurations to the best of my knowledge. If it can hold up to the Ecoboost, it'll be just fine...

Good luck with that. The V10 has never been offered in the Mustang, and is no longer offered in the F250/F350. As the CAFE requirements scale up, you'll see more smaller-displacement motors...

The 6R80 has proven to be fairly bulletproof. People are towing heavy with these trucks all the time, and we aren't seeing massive reports of transmission failures. I'd leave well enough alone....

I had the same failure... went through the process to remove the neck, reseat the spring, and added a cotter pin to prevent further back-out. Haven't had a problem since.

I've even installed NMO mounts in fiberglass, such as the cab of our Kenwood T300 tanker/pumper....

I would have to disagree, somewhat. This number is changing. My father traded in a 2010 F150 about a year ago...with 220K on the clock. Still got 11K for it, dealer trade. I was quite surprised.
