In that case, it was my father-in-law, who passed away in September of this past year. The car is now mine. The doors have been converted back to original. Luckily he had saved the original hinges.

Yes, it can be brought back to retest for no charge. However if he were to fail a second time, he would have to pay for the third test.

Here in Arizona if the you fail the first emissions, the retest is free. If you fail that, then you start at the beginning and have to pay full price again.

That truck appears to be in really good condition. I wish mine was that nice. I myself like to keep it original. So my opinion is to keep it stock....
