i hear ya. i can get my truck in my back yard but getting it turned around is a real pain. i'm only 32 feet wide and pushing / pulling a project in a narrow space isnt much fun .

the automatic transmission will most likely be a bit longer than the standard transmission but dont quote me. a 4x4 truck needs a 4x4 transmission.

you would need a 4 wheel drive transmission with all the proper linkage, drive shafts may need to be lengthened ( front ) and shortened ( rear ) new steering column unless you do a custom floor...
