If you're using something with openings the size of regular window screen material I don't see that you would have any problems. Definitely better than having to spray, scrape and vacuum them off...

Time to jack up that corner and use a pry bar to move the wheel up and down to see if you can duplicate the sound. And so a thorough visual inspection.

Sylvania Silverstars are what put in my truck and bike. They're really white (not blue) and help a decent amount. They aren't HID but much better than a regular halogen.
