I know someone with a 6.4. They are experiencing regen issues and thus poor mileage. I don't know much about the 6.4. My favorite is the 7.3 but I also run a 6.7.

I'd make sure you give it some good 1/2 hour to hour drives. Run it at operating temps. I bought mine used at 9000 miles and towed about 145,000 miles since. Nothing over 14k. Use Motorcraft air...
