Mine is also notched into the frame and sat slightly lower than stock prior to installing dropped spindles. You probably will be fine but like Gerrymore said it depends on how it was installed.

They are zerk fittings and the more unions you use the more places for leaks. If you have the tools get the longest lines possible and use less unions.

It is looking good. My question to you is if you want a limited slip style carrier (Posi is a GM term, aka a swear word) don't bother disassembling your open diff (unless it is for fun)...
