No idea where you're getting IDS 1 and IDS 2 from. It's officially known as Ford IDS VCM II with current software as version R94.05 as of today.

R95.01 for Ford IDS VCM II will be released...

For that matter might as well throw in SCT Tuner, it tunes, pulls codes and does live data.

DB and Torque work relatively well at pulling codes i.e. a scanner.

SG is most monitor like as it code pulling abilities are atrocious.
