your problem is still in a harness, but not at that spot. The harness under the truck to the O2- transmission has a problem / short/ burn area.......... it was there before, and still there...........

diameter is about the same so speedo is fine......

diameter is about the same so speedo is fine... only difference is the wider tires may wear more oddly, and the smaller (45%) side wall may have less "flex" when running on bumpy roads/ chuck holes.

you don't have to remove the wheel hub if its OK... That is a big job, axle shaft is not quite as much work.. remember to drain the lube out of the pumpkin first. ... 3/4 inch square hole plug.

well, that don't look real good 1... Look at Maks movie again. Pull the upper ball joint pin off the knuckle. Pull the alignment arm ball joint end pin off the knuckle... Push the alxe half shaft...

was the noise possibly up front on the engine ? Cam phasers have been known to make a ticking noise . Thinner oil may make it worse according to some. Check that engine oil level is up to the max....

sure sounds like it is in the IWE, since you have the vacuum OFF... Most people have problems with not enough vacuum and leave the 4 x 4 partly engaged and "rattling"... seems like something is...

You realize the "NORMAL" position of the actuator is 4 x 4 engaged... When you start the motor and get vacuum, you can "disengage" and go to 2...

I would also check for proper vacuum pressure, not just "present"... the IWE writeup has some good steps...

One wheel at a time unplug the double vacuum hoses from the actuators at the wheel...

so your saying the actuator is stuck and not moving ? if you have vacuum, and it turns on and off, then either you have 4 x 4 or the actuator is not engaging .. right ?

I would say 90% of the time the noise is the bearing. 10% or less is the axle CV joints. Quite a few of them are "damp" but not wet with oil. Most of that comes from the gear lube in the differential...

those two codes mean VACUUM LEAK... The FIRST thing you do is replace all the small hoses to everything.
