I like an engine that might not be the most popular engine. It's nice and simple, nearly bullet proof. It can make decent power and great torque. But it won't make 350-400HP with out spending a lot...

Well according to Tinman52's measurements and looking at the pictures you posted. I would say the 51/52 F7/F8 Front fenders would probably be real close if not the right width for the 73 F500...

Havi would the 51/52 F7/F8 front clip be wide enough? I have no clue how wide the big trucks are. It shouldn't be a problem on the F350 but I don't know if they would be wide enough on the F500.

I'm afraid the 52 front fenders are still going to be too narrow. I'm working on a 54 F100 that I'm swapping onto a newer chassis. I'm using F500 fenders on mine and it's just about the perfect width...

You'll need to widen the front fenders. Like tinman52 mentioned the roll back will have a wider track width. Same issue...

1. Are you using your stock proportioning valve? If you are it may have a built in residual valve for the drum brakes. If that is the case it will cause the brakes to drag....
