I'm one of them, when my tstat was at or near 180-182 my deltas were 10-11......new tsat and ECT was 188-190 EOT was was/is 6-7* warmer. I can't explain it but I know it to be true.

Thanks guys, I have already replaced the resistor and the connector was melted/ rusted at the point of contact so I followed your advice and ordered a connector from auto zone and I'll be replacing...

The resistor is new and looked as it should when I installed it.....I didn't scutinize the coils that much though, I assumed new would be as it should be. If I don't find the problem I'll remove it...

The connector at the resistor looked to have been over heated and somewhat rusted/corroded, the switch end looked fine. I cleaned the connector at the resistor but I didn't check to see of the wire...

I have 3.73 gears same as my 6.0 in the 5.4 and my mileage figures about the same as your....I was comparing the pulling power of the 6.0 to my 5.4. I haven't tried to pull my T/T with the 5.4 yet...
