OP -- Since ECU programming helps keep the noise down on these 6.7L engines...I would ask the dealer to update and reprogram the ECU (even if same program version)...just to see if that helps.:-X22...

If you feel comfortable with the 22" which is OEM sizing, then stick with it. ...
