Bill , found more clips in the left over spare parts box. So have a full 8 pc. set for you . Also have another full 8 pc. set & some spare if any one needs them .

PROGRESS !!!!

Received some parts in the mail today .New correct yr. starter solenoid , starter button , brake switch , and some cosmetic items .
Starter solenoid made a major difference .
POS off made starter...

It should have a R stamped in it .Is your truck a 6 or 8 . The air deflectors are different for a 6 which mts. in the forward holes & an 8 which mts. in the rear holes .

Bill , believe clips maybe necessary on the rear edge where it maybe prone to being kicked during exiting the truck . Also the mid clip near the middle about half way up the rear of the door seal...

POS made off shore starter solenoid !! Al it was good for is the metric fasteners .The rest made it in the trash .Installed the old one & all is well .


Turned battery around . What a difference...

Cable connections - something wrong ?

Thought it was going to be a monumental after a 7 1/2 yr. build . Installed the new heater core in the Magic Air heater , installed heater , filled system with water ( no leaks) , installed battery...

Checked the location of the holes for the clips ....

Checked the location of the holes for the clips . I knew the top , middle rear & inside bottom locations but was missing the one just above the inside bottom . Body man must have thought it needed...

Door seal clips

Understood that each door takes one style of each . The small one ( on left )attaches the door seal to the top of the door , the small clip type (on right ) attaches the seal to the bottom rear of...
