Also This is the only way to remove the a clutch fan setup.

I also converted my shroud into a split in 1/2 upper & lower parts like GM...

Or some motor oil if you don't care about the mess it makes just don't over do it.

Hopefully it's the choke and not the exh. valves needing attentions. These old classic were built in the day of needing lead gas. And with out it, it slowly over heat the exh valves seats and burns...

I replaced my hood hinge springs with the later...

I replaced my hood hinge springs with the later dents springs that did help hold it up a little higher.

I get use to my truck high hood and when go work on the ex inlaws 70f250 low hood I go home...
